Enamel and grease

The board is a ruled cage, not a lounge with a screen.

Suite 2 still has the enamel from a tobacco-warehouse clerk's office. Wren kept the columns. The sofas never arrived.

What the enamel actually holds

Three start columns, a climate strip, a punch clock Dexter refuses to replace, and a shift bell Nell rings when a column is honest. Public Square foot traffic is courthouse volume most weeks and a parade on Austin Peay nights. The board still marks Tuesday through Saturday morning.

Grease pencil survives a sweaty palm. Markers do not. That is why the columns look ugly and stay true.

  • Leave first, finish never
  • Climate named before loft is named
  • Liberty Park grain or a mat we treat as a rumor
  • A wipe is a posted LATE, not a discount
